General membership in the BC Association of Optometrists is open to Doctors of Optometry who are registered with the College of Optometrists of British Columbia. Other membership categories exist for those who are not practicing Doctors of Optometry, including: associate, retired and student members.
Member Application
To apply for membership, download and print a membership application, a part-time membership application or a student membership application to complete and fax or mail to our office.
Membership Dues for 2013 for Doctors of Optometry currently practicing in British Columbia
BCAO Annual Dues: $1,600
CAO (Canadian Association of Optometrists) Annual Dues: $330
PR / Advertising Assessment: $800
Total: $2,730 (plus applicable taxes)
Payment may be made by cheque, VISA or MasterCard. An installment plan is also available.
